Dr. Ralph Merkle's current research interest at Xerox PARC is molecular manufacturing. He is the executive editor of the journal Nanotechnology, which publishes a broad range of articles both on molecular manufacturing and nano-scale research, and will chair the Fifth Foresight Conference on Molecular Nanotechnology.
Dr. Eric Drexler is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Molecular Manufacturing. He has authored a series of journal articles on nanotechnology and three books, including Engines of Creation and his most recent book, Nanosystems: Molecular Machinery, Manufacturing and Computation, which describes the principles and mechanisms of molecular nanotechnology. He lectures on nanotechnology to a wide variety of technical and business audiences.
Chris Peterson is the Executive Director of Foresight and was editor of the Foresight Update from 1986-95. She lectures and gives interviews on nanotechnology, including guidance on nanotechnological careers.
Gayle Pergamit is principal of Venture Acceleration, consulting in start-up business strategy and executive and technical recruiting. She is a writer, editor and lecturer including speaking at Foresight conferences and Senior Associate meetings.
