        Fellow Space Enthusiasts,

        This has been a rough summer...  We're very sorry for the problems
that have plagued the five Space Digests over the past month.  From a hard
disk crash to an unannounced "upgrade" of News software, very few issues
have been delivered throughout the month of August (and end of July).  But
THAT'S ALL BEHIND US NOW!!!

        As you know, the various Space Digests are email versions of the
similarly-named Usenet Newsgroups:

So even though the digests have not appeared, lots of messages have been
accumulating!  Rather than attempt to mail nearly six megabytes of email to
everyone, we will just leave the delayed issues in storage, and pick up
again with the current discussion.  Those of you who really want to see what
you missed will have to use anonymous FTP to isu.isunet.edu to retrieve the
other files.  Here's a list of the digests that were not delivered by email:
